Prompt-How do Game Based Learning and Gamification use active learning?
I learned that Active learning is a continues feedback loop between professor and students less time, more time coaching. It uses technology to crate activities that uses higher order skills in Bloom’s taxonomy.
Game-based learning can be GBL and gamification. gamification is some part of GBL. GBL is more like play a game and learn but gamification is element of games into traditional activities.
During a game what happens is that student are actively using their learning to play that game and that is how Game Based Learning and Gamification use active learning.

Hi Mahi, I like how you described the difference between GBL and gamification. Maybe you could provide an example of both and identify their differences? I think gamification is a great way to engage learners especially younger individuals ranging from 5-18 years. By mixing traditional teaching methods with gamification it can learning more fun for students.
